IT’S HERE !
Q) What’s Processing ?
#Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts. Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology. There are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning and prototyping.
NOW THE MAIN QUESTION ARISES HOW WE START?
#So here are some of the links from where you can grab the best knowledge about PROCESSING software.
HERE IS THE LINK FROM WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOUR PROCESSING SOFTWARE LATES VERSION
THIS SEGMENT WAS FOR BEGINNERS.
NOW THE ONE WHO ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH PROCESSING,HERE IS AN INTERESTING CODE FOR YOU.
Ever wanted to play with LED’s. Believe me, LED’s are my favourite part to hang out with whenever I do my electronic stuff. I just love playing and doing crazy stuff with LED’s .
I am not a pro in Processing but I’ve generated this code along with my teacher and I want to share it with you guys.
SO WHAT’S IT?
Wanna make LED’s dance on your beats. Imagine sometimes being a DJ and controlling LED’s with the music you play. Yes, now it’s possible with our code BEATListner.
Another Short Code:
int x= 100; // globa variable x with value 100
size(640,480); // to assign the values for the size of animation window
background(150); // here value varies the backgound colour of the animation plane
HOW IT WORKS?
Step 1: Download the Processing 3 software.
Step 2: Open it and just copy the code in the link given below.
NOTE: Remember if you haven’t installed the software then you have to download certain libraries to make it work.
Step 3: Download/Open Arduino IDE and Select FILE tab from MENU BAR and select EXAMPLES and under that select FIRMATA and then select STANDARD FIRMATA and upload it on your board.
Step 4: In BEATListner Program there in around 52nd line, you can upload your own mp3.
FOR MY FAVOURITE VISITORS I’ve even uploaded the necessary libraries needed to run this program. Just download it and copy it to libraries folder inside the Processing folder in My documents( WINDOWS USERS), for MAC or LINUX just locate your Processing Folders where you store your programs.
YAAAEEYYY! You Made It 🙂
HAPPY INTERFACING 🙂
