LED Smartphone Dock

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

I’ll be making a dock for my smarthphone. It consists of a box made of plexiglas so I can use a led light to light it up from the inside.

Plexiglas ?

Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), also known as acrylic or acrylic glass as well as by the trade names Plexiglas, Acrylite,Lucite, and Perspex among several others. It is a transparent thermoplastic often used in sheet form as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. The same material can be utilized as a casting resin, in inks and coatings, and has many other uses.

THINGS YOU NEED :

  1. ARDUINO UNO
  2. A BRIGHT LED LIGHT
  3. A sheet of PLEXIGLAS + tools to cut it
  4. A hinge for the backdoor (For Cable input and  in case of replacing LED)

SOFTWARE REQUIRED :

  1. ARDUINO IDE
